As most of you know by now, I am always on the look out for great hairstyles but rarely do I see something that is so unique and looks so good. There is simply no better way for me to share this hairstyle with all of you on this blog. The hairstyle that you see in the above picture is called the cascading braids hairstyle. It is not your everyday braid as it does require a bit of patience and work. But the results as you can see are simply amazing! This hairstyle works well with long hair and I would recommend it for events such as prom or weddings. This hairstyle requires a bit of weaving and braiding but all the work is well worth it. What you will need:
Hair Wax
Hair Ties
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Apply a small amount of wax to the base of your hair to prevent fly away hair
Step 2: Separate your bangs to one side and begin doing a french braid.
Step 3: After you have finished with the bangs, add a new section of hair to the bottom side of the braid
Step 4: Pull on the outer section to create a cascading effect.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the length of your hair
Step 6: Stop adding new sections to your hair once you have reached your desired look
Step 7: Finish the ends of your hair with a french braid.
Step 8: Secure the end with a hair tie
Step 9: Repeat steps 2 to 8 on the other side of your hair
Step 10: Tie two braided tails from both sides of the head in the middle.
